Duetches Museum

There is a lot of anticipation for the HUGE science museum here in Munich. Everyone says it’s big, big, big and is the most attended science museum in the world. It sits on its own island. We can’t get going early enough for Brett, but the kids are begging for more time at the German library downstairs.
We actually make it in the door by 11:00a.m, but once coats are checked and bathroom stops accomplished, it’s 11:30. The place closes at 5:00- let’s go!
Honestly, I was done by 12:30. Boats, planes, chemistry. It is less exciting than the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, and it’s in German. Outside the window sit the churches and shops and I’m stuck looking at nuclear fusion machines.
Motherhood duties are painful sometimes, but after lunch I put on my happy camper T-shirt and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon. I can pick out that cuckoo clock at the airport.
